Walton Goggins' teeth are getting to me, though...
Walton is a strange duck to me. Between is very large teeth and even larger forehead, there is nothing that should be attractive about him. Yet.... he has some kind of appeal. I used to think it was just the character on Justified but nope. It's the actor and I have no idea why.

The network has renewed drama Evil for a second season and extended the runs of drama All Rise and comedies Bob Hearts Abishola, Carol's Second Act and The Unicorn. CBS didn't provide episode counts but said the latter four shows all have full-season orders - which in the current landscape can mean anything from 16 to 24 episodes.

I think like many good comedies, it takes time to find their footing. Look at how Cougar Town started and also Parks and Rec. :)
I liked CT from the beginning, even with the original premise, mostly because the cast was so good. I never took to Parks and Rec though I have it on my eventually revisit list, but probably never will. Some comedies are good from the beginning, some are not great but have potential (like this one), and some are so bad I can barely make it through the first episode (like Patricia Heaton's new one). The problem is that in today's TV landscape with so much content, I'm not willing to give most shows more than an episode or two. So rather than in the past, shows better show me potential or I'm done quick.

I'm still watching it, but it looks like it's just going to be Wade's failed attempt at relationships one after another. He'll get interested in someone and then something will remind him of his dead wife and that will end the relationship. He'll get horny again and wash, rinse, repeat. His circle of meddling friends can be fun, especially the two guys from Ballers. It's only a half hour show so I'm not investing a great deal of time in it, but I'll stick around and see where it goes. I'm only seeing 14 episodes listed on epguides.com so I don't know if that means there are only 14 episodes this season or what.

+1. Pretty much nailed it for me.

I'm still in for now as well. I'll finish the season and then decide. I like Googins and his daughters, but the friends just make me want to run screaming Especially Delia and her clueless husband.
