I have 2 Humax TIVO boxes, one is a regular one and the other has the dvd burner. A while back the one with the burner started having issues where sometimes the guide just wouldn't work. When you hit the button on the remote the red light comes on but nothing happens. After a while the TIVO guide finally quit coming on ever (but the light still comes on when you hit the button).
Any suggestions before I go buy a new one? It is hard to use without the TIVO guide. A friend of mine said his with the burner is fickle too and sometimes doesn't work...
