I swapped the HDD out of a working Tivo HD into another Tivo HD. Now that Tivo won't boot and is stuck at the "Almost there. Just few minutes more" screen. any way to correct this?

You cannot blatantly swap drives from a Tivo to another and expect it to work properly.
1) The drive needs to be from the same model. Once its running, you must do Clear & Delete Everything. This marries the image to the specific Tivo.
2) Another drive can be used if, an image for that model is put on the drive. WD Red Plus models ends in EFRX, EFZX, up to 2 TB can be used. 95% of other drives are SMR and not compatible. WD Green and purple can be used. Some models are more noisier than others.
3) The power supply capacitors comes into factor as well. Age and condition would mean they have to be replaced. Using another model's power supply may not be as helpful because they are just as old or older.
