I have a Sony SVR-3000 that's been gathering dust ever since I switched to DirecTV and DirecTiVos about 4 years ago. It doesn't have a lifetime subscription, extra hard drive, or any of that jazz.
I'm hauling an old computer to the electonics recycler this weekend, and was planning to take this old DVR along with it. I booted it up to delete all the old shows off it, and it still seems to work fine.
Is there still any sort of market for this? I have the original packaging and all that, so I could easily ship it, but I don't want to mess with that to make $10-15 on eBay.
If I do sell it instead of trashing it, do I need to do anything to disassociate my personal info from the TiVo?
Thanks.
