Update:
DOMAIN TOKEN: Instructions using Edge browser displays a token with current date, however, when pasted into metagenerator ver 414 expiration date is unknown,

AdvSearch (Categories) began failing ~2 days ago. Category search field is blank.
Manually refreshing token via config==>tivo menu produces "Failed to get domain token. Check your tivo.com username or password" msg.
tivo.com password was changed and I can successfully login to tivo.com, but still can't refresh token.

Issue occurs with both KMTTG v2.8-I and 2.9.3-I.

Any suggestions?

I’ve seen this problem also. I’ve concluded that the problem is with the TiVo servers and just wait for it to start working again. Sometimes exiting/rerunning KMTTG fixes it … probably because KMTTG makes a new connection attempt.

Version v2.8-l V2.9-l broke category searching. In that version, the category list wouldn't load at all. Version v2.9-l v2.9.2-l fixed the loading problem (categories are visible) but not the searching (any search referencing a category fails).

I don't understand "v2.8i broke category searching". I've been running 2.8i since ~May '24 without any issues w/ category searches...... until a week ago.
I did a clean install of 2.8-I and 2.9.3 on a spare laptop to see if the issue it was with the install on the usual PC's I run KMTTG. No change at all.
Is there a consensus on what's going on here? Did Experi break category searching, is it related to their issue requiring new passwords or a new KMTTG issue? A TiVo/KMTTG handshake issue perhaps?
I can still make limited category searches thru TiVo search, so the functionality is partially available. However It lacks the features and ease of use of the KMTTG search function.
I'm curious, does TiVo use the token for anything other than allowing KMTTG to search the program schedule?

domainToken is the cookie you get after logging into online.tivo.com. There are a few parts of kmttg that makes remote requests instead of a request directly to the local TiVo.

Fixed the link in my post. I had to re-do the release because I did a caps v and that broke the updater 🤦‍♂️. You should also be able to update with check for updates.

Check for updates allowed me to update successfully.

Any idea what is going on with Category searches? These were working for me prior to the token problem on v2.8i. Here's the KMTTG response I get when searching for sci-fi movies.
