The final episodes of the season had been sitting in my Now Playing list for over a year. I finally watched them all last night and this morning. Terrific ending to the series. Satisfied.

Sure, the new case stands on its own but the occasional callbacks & references will be meaningless.

Thanks! I should probably seek out the show and watch it first, as it's always been so popular and, from just seeing him play a character on Wings, I really like Shalhoub.

The series seems to currently be available on both Peacock and Amazon Prime (but the new reunion movie is only on Peacock).
