I caught that too - hilarious!

Although I don't care for Kirstie Alley, I did find it amusing that they had her getting Leah Rimini to eat for her. Someone's definitely been reading these boards!

 

 

My wife and I are big KoQ fans but we didn't really care for (much of) this episode. We found the parts with Kirstie Alley to be generally un-funny and kind of stupid.

The parts with Kevin James and the apartment, however, were pretty good.

I thought the same thing. Kevin James just "makes" the show. Not a fan of Kirstie Alley so the scenes with her and Leah Remini left me bored.

my wife actually said that this show has now officially "jumped the shark"....I'm starting to agree.

I do have to admit that Doug speaking "Chinese" was really funny.

heh. We had that thought too.

I must say though, that the parts with Kevin James saved this episode from reaching that point (in our mind). Although the 'special guest star' bit was lame-o.

As my wife said, "This show has really entertaining bit-players. It doesn't need special guest stars." And I agree.

 

dont watch the new ones, i get the old eps from upn..............but i caught this one, does the cousin and spence still live together? why didnt they use their place as the hang out?

Spence's mom was over at their place. She had a date.

But, not sure if she lives there or just drops by allot or what.

 

I liked this episode. I too don't care for Kristie too much but, thought it was cool they made fun of her weight and she went along with it.

Plus Doug having his own place and not telling Carrie was great. Later she decides to stay there too instead of going home to her dad.

Obviously in the real world no way would the wife not believe that the husband wasn't seeing girls there.

I think Doug has somewhat entered Homer Simpson territory in the 'plot holes' regard. I mean, how did he do everything he did in this episode and still work at IPS?

I said the same thing about the money....they are or at least were always in money problems....but the show explained that Doug had worked out a deal with the Chinese place and that's when they showed him working there..and it was all at night. I guess before that he was able to "hide" $200 ($800 divided 4 ways between the guys) from his wife.

Actually....the silliest part about that whole thing is that Carrie has that huge office upstairs. There was no need for her to be downstairs in the first place.

One more thing....Since when did Carrie become a real estate agent? I sure don't remember that happening.

 

There was a recent episode where Spence was teaching Carrie how to talk - getting rid of her strong accent. It was because she was applying for a new job with the real estate agency. I didn't think she got it, but apparently she did.

I don't quite remember it that way...I do remember her applying for a new position, but not a job for a new company. I don't even remember them saying it was anything real estate related. I've just been assuming that because she has always been a legal assistant that that it what she is still doing.

We are probably missing some small storyline in a past episode.

This sure seems like the first time anything real-estate related was ever mentioned.

 

Oh - I think she went with the real estate company last season. Selling was just a new thing for her.

She lost her job with the law firm; went to interview with the real estate firm; Doug screwed up her interview, etc.
