Simon is an idiot.
I really liked Drew at the beginning but she got boring fast singing the same slow songs every week. I hated her "Billy Jean". Sorry she is gone, but blame her stupid mentor.
Astro was getting old for me, too, plus I hated his 'tude.
I like Marcus, but I don't get the love for Chris at all - I think his vocals are weak.
My 3 favorites are still in it...Josh, Melanie and Rachael.
I would love to see Josh win this - I love his bluesy vocals - but I think it is Melanie's show to lose at this point. She is e type of popular singer people love.

Chris should have been gone. Astro was deserving of being gone. Drew should have stayed. Marcus doesn't entertain me. I don't care who wins anymore. If I had to pick I guess Melanie.

Drew's sound is really interesting. I like her voice a lot; however, there was no versatility in it. I do think that L.A.'s criticism really harmed her chances. Everyone begged for her to do something different and she or Simon (or she and Simon) refused to leave her comfort zone. I don't think she's wacky or loony toons. I think she's a barely 15 year old girl that simply got emotional. Her performance last night was really good; however, the gender change up is just odd to me. It reminded me of Dexter's performance of "I Kissed a Girl" which was very off putting to me. If the lyrics no longer make sense, don't sing the song. I also swear that I've heard that slow rendition of MJ's song before. Not sure where.

I don't like, and have never liked Chris. Saying he's improved each week means nothing since he started out so far below the talents of the rest of the competition. I think he's a gifted song writer but I don't think his talents lie in performance. His vocals simply suck as far as I'm concerned.
Rachel is cute as a button. She has a beautiful tone to her voice when she all out sings. It's when she smile sings that her youth comes out and it doesn't sound near as good. I think she could age into a great career. Her voice is suited for more adult songs, but the oddity of looking at a cute young girl singing about things she should know nothing about rubs me wrong.

OK, so I think this is only my second or third episode that I've watched (I think I watched one try-out episode and one performance episode at the beginning). So, I really don't "know" any of the performers, but, watching just last night's show, I cannot believe that Drew went home. That Billie Jean rendition was fantastic, and probably the 2nd best performance of the night (that last girl was awesome). No way Drew should have gone home - not even close.
Glad Astro is gone. Chris should've been gone to. He may be improving, but his vocals are still weak.
