Would you buy an S3 if MRV and TTG were enabled?

I own one S3 but will not be purchasing a second until I have a definitive answer on MRV and TTG. I'm curious to see how many people are like me.

My vote is Yes.

How about a maybe? MRV, TTG, and some answer for SDV are what I need before making the plunge.
I don't own one currently, but would buy at least 2 if MRV was available. Until then I am sticking with my HR10-250 and will upgrade to HR20 if/when MRV is available on it. First platform to have MRV is what I will go with.

I would have to see MRV,TTG,SDV, and a way for Entertainment on Demand if it was not enabled with the SDV.

I have one S3 today. I'd buy a second S3 or S3-lite if MRV were enabled or if lifetime were offered again. (I wouldn't use TTG so it's not a factor in my decision).

TiVo *is* entertainment on demand.
Yes, for $349 if full MRV/TTG was available (no HD-TTG ok), and considering the service pricing and SDV risks.
i bought one without the fun and didn't want to get a second until mrv came along. But then the price dropped so now I have 2 anyway- LOL.

But yes I'd love MRV and it makes the cost benefit analysis run a lot smoother when it's included.

curious- what is"full" MRV/TTG if HD isn't included?

Are you talking just digital cable HD is OK to exclude? Do you mean no HD at all is fine? Or do you mean digital cable HD and SD is fine to exclude as long as we get OTA HD?

just pondering...

edit: or MRV has to include everything but you are cool if TTG is limited?

I just mean TiVo to PC transfers of HD content not allowed. PC to TiVo HD needs to be there. Of course MRV everything TiVo to TiVo.

What about flagged cablecard content- are you expecting that to be allowed to MRV?
Maybe I just don't get it. I own 2 S2s and an S3 tivo. Why is everyone SO concerned about getting MRV and TTG for the S3?

I have only used MRV maybe once or twice. It always seemed more like an inconvenience. With the S3's 2 tuners and expandable storage, why not just record whatever programs you might want to watch in two places on both tivos?

I only used TTG a few times, and just to load TV shows onto my laptop so I had something to do on trips. With the S2, transfer times were slightly longer than realtime for me. It is REALLY not worth spending 5 hours to transfer an HD program to my computer. Do others really have this need? Especially now that most HD shows come out on DVD pretty soon after airing anyways.

what do you do when there are THREE things on at the same time? THen you have to plan which tv you want to be at to which it. For that MRV is very nice to have access to. I have a pari of 250+750external S3's still sometimes I dont have what I want in the correct location.

TTG not that big a deal to me personally.

TTCB would be great for me as I have an HD(ish) camcorder that records to MPEG4 SD cards so I'd love to be able to puill those off my file server staright through the tivo.

(are transfer times really that bad normally? if so that could be3 a major PIA for HD content...)
I voted yes, but I have to add the stipulation that I moved to an area where some cable company other than Charter is available.
I thought CableCard dealt with the whole SDV issue?
I own no Tivos.

Would buy two if MRV worked for most of my channels.

TTG would be useful, but I could probably live without it.

And to whoever presented the idea of just owning two and recording your shows on both.. That means you have to program everything twice. You might not see MRV as that big of a deal, but the response to this poll shows that most people do.
I will buy a second S3 when they enable MRV.
You're missing the "Already bought an S3 for every HDTV in the house" option on your poll.

A "maybe" option wouldn't be bad either.
I already have 2, and would probably get a third once MRV is enabled.
