I have added several movies to Wishlist.

How Wishlist notify me that the movie is available?

How does Whishlist know whether I want the movie recorded in SD or HD ?

Please note that I have added these movies to the Wishlist via the web site link as I am out of town. Is it possible that direct access to the Tivo box via the Tivo remote may give me more options?

It will choose SD channels if they are on checked on your channels list, which is best to uncheck SD channels if you have HD ones of the same.

Good. As I noted in the other message I am trying to swap out some HD movies to SD to save space.

If the current movie is HD but I add a wishlist item that gets recorded at the lowest channel number (SD), then will I have the HD and the SD and be able to delete the HD ?

There is a setting on all Wishlists: Auto-Record ON or OFF.

If you set it ON, it will record anything that matches the Wishlist, without you having to do anything. Auto-Record.

If you set it OFF, it does nothing. You have to go to the Wishlist, check for upcoming matches, and tell it to manually record if you want it. No Auto-Record.
