I could be wrong, its been a while since I was trying to setup a wireless adapter to my DTivo. But at that time WPA was NOT supported that was one of the reasons I went with a bridge setup instead.

WPA on stock TiVos relies on the fact that the TiVo adapter has a co-processor to do some of the wireless processing.

Without a TiVo G adapter, your only optinons is direct etherent, or a bridge.
