Gold Rush, Discovery, new season - not in Todo list
Bargain Mansions, HGTV, new season - not in Todo list
Fixer to Fabulous, HGTV, new season - not in Todo list

And, as usual The Amazing Race, new season started in Oct, just found out it's not recording on two DIfferent TIVOs again for the third year in a row.

I had to delete and re enter all these one passes so they finally started showing up in the Todo list to record.

How many others are missing?

My guess is the craptacular guide data we have lately.

I just ran across a show for which I set a Pass at S01/E01 and it stopped recording them and now I see E08 coming up. It's not my job to keep track of the shows airing. I can barely keep track of what I am supposed to be doing, so I never noticed that I was missing episodes along the way. I tossed that Pass because I'm weird about missing episodes and trying to go back.

They are doing such a horrible job with guide data these days.

With the one I mentioned it wasn't that the Pass wasn't picking up new episodes. It seems to be that the episodes are not coded properly as 'new', so the Pass didn't pick them up. The two eps coming up show generically as not new, which I guess is what happened with the couple/few episodes before now that didn't record.

Let me guess - Transplant? Same thing exactly here; ep 1-3 ok, 4-7 missing, 8+ set to record. Apparently this show was aired in Canada last spring so, the guide data was reflecting some of those original air dates on certain episodes resulting in the "not new" issue. We also deleted the episodes and cancelled the one pass after missing so many.

I had already forgotten, so had to look it up and you are absolutely correct.

I must have seen the first 3 and then, as times flies so fast for me, I had no idea we had gone through a few weeks and nothing. On this one, I'm sure you're right that they didn't show as new because of the Canadian OD. But, they had completely generic data on the episodes, to boot.

I wish they could get these guide data issues together already. I have to constantly monitor things and there is much I miss because I pay THEM to do their freaking part. (Yeah, a bit of anger there because I'm really tired of it!)

"Transplant" is available on Hulu. If you're a Comcast or Cox user you can view "Transplant" on Peacock with ads or pay $5 for no ads.

Call up TiVo and complain. As it's been said, we pay money for the guide. We shouldn't have to babysit it.

We could debate whether the first aired date should reflect the market area or not. But NEW status should definitely reflect whether it's NEW to an individual country/market.

Cosmos: Possible Worlds was a mess earlier. I think they kept upping the episode number past 13 and labeling them as NEW despite it already having had a broadcast on Nat Geo. This mess occurred on the FOX premiere (broadcast premiere). It's debatable, but not the upping of episode numbers that I recall happening.
