I am currently on Dish and want to cut the cable. I currently have good OTA signals. BUT, I will be moving to another state in a year and don't want to eliminate the cable option. Streaming is welcome in the same box, if available. I have a PC hooked to my TV so it isn't necessary but...
I will likely buy a lifetime subscription.
Want to record OTA and cable and skip commercials.

TLDR
Is there a Tivo that does OTA, cable and streaming?

Probably need the Tivo for the WAF. She needs simplicity and she can run the Dish DVR so she should be good with a Tivo (again).

The last model to do both cable and OTA at the same time was the two tuner Premiere.

The base model Roamio and 4 tuner Bolts can do either cable or OTA, but not at the same time.

Streaming is pretty much unusable on the Premiere, tolerable on the Roamio, and adequate on the Bolt or later models.

Actually, the Roamio Series 5 TCD846500 does both cable and ota. It is 500 gb but is easier to upgrade the hd than on the bolt. You can find them on ebay.

Actually and factually, you are wrong and JLV03 was correct.

The model you refer to (the base model Roamio) can do cable OR OTA.
