I am putting my Tivo behind my TV and will use an IR extender to control the unit along with a DVD player and Cable box. I know where to put the stickon IR on the DVD and Cable Box, but am having a problem finding the IR receiver exact location on the Tivo box.
I have tried several locations on the front of the Tivo, but need help. Anyone know where it is on this box?

Smack dab in the middle between the LEDs.

That did not work. The LEDs are low near the bottom on this unit and there is no room between the LEDs. When I stick it on the LEDs it does not work.
Maybe you are thinking about a different unit?

Use a flashlight and look for a dark red transparent area on the front.
