You could try and call Retention (1-800-824-9081 just to see what kind of offers they have, I called the other day and asked what offers they had for existing customers and they gave me another Dtivo for $14.95 installed, no empty threat about leaving or better deals just ask because it can't hurt since you are planning to pay for one anyway.

Yeah, but I think the point is that he wants a TiVo. You're going to get a non-TiVo R-15 from Directv.

Yes I want a Tivo and not one of those replacement tuners with out Tivo.

What is the difference between the R10 and R15?
The R15 is the non tivo based Dtv DVR. You want the R10 if you want the tivo platform. You should still qualify for the 100.00 mail in rebate as long as you activate it before 2/26/06 and havent taken a rebate in the last 12 mos.

Check the ad - it's been upgraded with a 200Gb hard drive. It's also on the CANADIAN Ebay site.

Personally, I wouldn't buy anything from Ebay - but that's just me. Remember, it's not what the asking price is, it's what someone will pay. I've got an old 14 hour Philips Series 1 TiVo with a blown modem that I'll sell for $300. Interested?

Oh, and while we're at it, about that land in Florida I have to sell..... :D

oh really.

first of all, that's the "buy now" price, not the current auction price.

secondly, that seller has a 100% approval rating and he's a "power seller" meaning that he's sold tons of stuff on ebay.

i've bought many, many items off ebay and i highly recommend them, from personal experience.
