So, when coming to the end of a show and I hit TIVO button, at what point will I get the option to keep or delete rather than MY SHOWS? 60 seconds remaining? 30 seconds remaining,? Is it a set time ? I usually watch a show then delete it so I want the option.

Why not just hit the back button or left arrow for TE3 and choose delete, then your back in my shows or the playlist. No time limit this way.

Yes; 5 minutes. With 2 exceptions.
1) If you've nearly caught up to live and the show is still recording you don't get the delete prompt
2) If the show is paused you don't get the delete prompt

(Also if you get the delete prompt and you don't want to delete OR lose your place hitting the 8 second back button will skip back and cancel the pop-up screen.

Why not just hit the back button or left arrow for TE3 and choose delete, then your back in my shows or the playlist. No time limit this way.

Caveat for this. If you hit Play while in the NPL, hitting the left arrow goes back to the NPL, not the show screen allowing you to hit delete. But once back in the NPL, you can always use the Clear button on the remote to delete the show.

If I hit the back button while watching a recorded show I will get a delete option? I understand if it is still recording I will get options but the back button sounds great.

Hitting pretty much any button in the last 5 min of the recording will give you the prompt. It kinda annoys me actually cuz I often hit Guide or TiVo just to check something causing it to pop up. But as others mentioned the Replay button will cancel it.

Yep, I regularly will try to check the Guide in the last 5 minutes of a recording and then need to hit the replay button to cancel the pop-up window, and then have to wait the 5 minutes before doing what I had wanted to do. Such problems I have.

Well you could hit pause instead of waiting the 5 minutes

Also, when I get the Delete/Keep prompt the Keep option is highlighted. I almost always want to scroll up to Delete but the up-arrow does not work until about 5 seconds after the prompt appears - very frustrating. Does anyone else have this delay?

Guide makes it pop up for me. ANY button does unless it's paused

Interesting--I just tried again and same result for me as before: the Guide button doesn't cause the pop-up, the TiVo button does. On TE3 here, if that makes a difference.
