What's up with TiVoCAST?

I have been receiving the CNET TiVoCast. I usually watch it on Monday although it is recorded sometime after Friday. It was not recorded and I could not find any reference to TiVoCast in the menus. I have two units, a series 2 and a series 3. Neither seemed to have a TiVoCAST option. Both have the latest version of software.

I noticed that I don't get the downloaded content options in the menu when my home network is disconnected from the internet. (I had cable modem problems a while back)
Now that you mention it. I havent gotten any either. I had the break.com one configured.

Either way, dont care to much. Useless feature anyway (my opinion).

Maybe this, plus the TTG issue on hte S2 will push Tivo to enable it on ALL Tivo's in early Nov; early as in Nov 1st 12:01 AM :)
I think the season passes for these only record new shows. If you want old stuff you gotta schedule it one by one.

Have you checked your TiVoCast list?

It dawned on me today that I too was no longer receiving shows for any of the several TiVoCast season passes that I had set up. Much to my dismay, when I looked through the TiVoCast listings I noticed that all of my TiVoCast season passes had been canceled! :(

Don't know how that happened. They certainly weren't canceled by myself or the other person who lives here with me. Rather annoying to have to set them up again too.

Yet another 9.1 bug ??
I noticed the same problem last night, fergie8. Ended up redoing my Season Passes for them and scheduling some of the back episodes to be downloaded. It was working fine until I got v9.1 of the software (back on October 2nd or 3rd).
This happened with the latest 9.1 up?grade. Lost all the TivoCast passes and had to re-set all of them. If you missed any shows you can use the download past shows feature like I did.
Hi folks,

We have confirmed there was an issue with some customers during the process of rolling out 9.1 software. (This was a problem with our process, and not a bug with 9.1 itself.) For affected customers, all Season Passes and Product Watch subscriptions were removed. Not all customers were affected. We are in the midst of restoring the Season Passes automatically, and that should be complete within the next few days. We apologize for the inconvenience, and have put in place measures that should prevent this problem from recurring.

I am very sorry that this problem occurred. It also took us much longer to notice the problem than it should have taken, mostly due to my paternity leave.

Apologies again.

Best regards,
Stephen

Congrats! Boy or Girl?

Thanks for this (and all the other) updates that you provide us with, your participation is appreciated.
TiVoCast started working for me again last night. It recorded several of my subscriptions and I can get into the TiVoCast screen and verify that all of my subscriptions are still indicated. Prior to this I couldn't even get into the feature and my TivoCasts weren't recording.

Yahoo Weather quit working for me before 9.1 and it is still not working. Seperate issue but about the only feature I can think of that is completely not working that I want to use.
Thanks GoHokies -- girl, born 9/23, 6 pounds 15 ounces, 20 inches. She's doing great but is a bit of a night owl. :)
