Every time there's a power outage in my area, it's always a hassle to get the Minis up and running again, after power is restored. The Minis displays a message about not being able to connect to the host DVR, or something of that nature, even after power cycling them. The host TiVo never has any issue.
However, it seems like if I just wait for upwards of 30 mins to one hour, and try to power cycle them again, the issue will be resolved.
The host is a Series4 (issued by the cable company) connected to an Arris modem via MoCa. I also have a NetGear Nighthawk router, if need be.
I'm sure there has to be a quicker way to get them connected. My initial reaction is that it has something to do with IP addresses conflicting, but I haven't had much chance to troubleshoot this, without inconveniencing a household of people.
