What's going on with the guide data?

When did they start trying to make program info cute instead of descriptive and helpful? Some examples:

• Monsters vs. Aliens: Oooze gonna save us?
• Easy A: Let's not and say we did.
• Old Dogs: Sit. Stay. Play dad.

And that, besides listing the main actors, is the only description of the program. Looks like it's limited (for now) to comedies and family fare.

Anyone else notice this? This could be limited to RCN in NYC but I'm going to guess it isn't.
