Is there anything out there? Jekyll ended a while back, and it's a while before Torchwood and Doctor Who start up, so I'm wondering if there's anything to tide me over...

Saxondale series 2 started a few days ago.

btw, just for future reference,
Jam and Jerusalem series 2 (Clatterford) starts on the 24th of November.

I'm wondering what else is on, as well. Good thread idea! :D

Ugh, I didn't like Hyperdrive at all. It was awful.
I liked hyperdrive.

I ordered The Thin Blue Line set and will be watching it this weekend.

Check out Sea Patrol (though it's from Australia, not England).

If you've never watched it yet, there's 3 seasons of ReGenesis (from Canada) to catch up with before the 4th season comes out.

From England, there's Shameless... new episodes won't start for a while yet, but there's 4 seasons to catch up with if you haven't seen it. There's also Skins; the first season ended earlier this year. Robin Hood finished its first season (though it's been shown on BBC America) and is worth watching.

I watched the first couple episodes of Hyperdrive. I thought it was cute, charming, stupid and a little funny. I'll probably keep watching it since the characters were interesting even if the situations were a bit ludicrous.

You must be talking about torrents. I don't see any Saxondale on my guide or mentioned on www.bbcamerica.com Same for Clatterford. I love Saxondale, or for that matter, anything written by/starring Steve Coogan. Keep an eye out for repeats of I'm Alan Partridge and Knowing Me, Knowing You.

Hyperdrive isn't great but it's not bad.

Currently running series on BBCAmerica that I would recommend include:

Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares
Coupling
Absolutely Fabulous
Top Gear (new to us in the States)
My Family
Life on Mars
Torchwood (starts soon)

If you get the Sundance Channel then absolutely check out Swinging. It's an extremely funny series of skits with x-rated language.

Old episodes play every night on BBCA and I think a marathon is coming up this weekend. I've seen every episode, but I still TiVo it anyway. The early ones with Jeff never fail to make me laugh.
