According to the installer, no. As a rental, it needs to be on a pole. And the trees would still be there. It needs to be mounted 4 doors down, where my old dish still is heh.JimSpence said:Can the dish be mounted higher in the new place?
Hmmmm.... Why not put the pole in the front yard ?sriggins said:They have a no-install policy, and I asked the installer if that would help and he said "no, you need to be in the front yard to get around these trees"
He could not get any HD signal at all, only 76% on the normal sat.Stanley Rohner said:Hmmmm.... Why not put the pole in the front yard ?
Many people who have taken this deal have reported that the installer could care less about taking the receiver, so you still might be able to sell it if you want.sriggins said:Well it looks as tho since I have been a Comcast cable internet customer for 5 years (and switching to FIOS next week hehe) they will "buyback" my tivo, giving me $30 off a month for 16 months, so essentially $480 for a 2 year committment.
Yeah, they already said they would take the old one, if any. Which is fine. I was not using it anyway.forecheck said:Many people who have taken this deal have reported that the installer could care less about taking the receiver, so you still might be able to sell it if you want.
