Football game is running late on Fox, so it's gonna mess everything up! Just a friendly warning.

Yeah we reminded everyone already.

Pad your ending by 15 minutes.
Heard the phone rining during the show. Finished watching it and deleted. Went up to check the messages. My friend: "Don't delete 24!"

D'oh!
Sean wasn't terribly pleased by that.
Sunday night, Fox... this is pretty much a given, isn't it?
Speaking of 24, I was a complete idiot and did not schedule it to record, anybody know if it is on iTunes? Or if they are going to air an Encore, or any other way to get the two Sunday Episodes? Kicking myself...

Thanks!

Know how to use the torrent sites?
Yeah, only I was not able to find it on the two sites I checked. If you have a lead for me though... Thanks.

Damn! I have been waiting months for this, and now I am screwed on the very first episode! :(

Do you think they will rerun it? What am I gonna do???
Ought to be something found somewhere on a torrent later today. Any time a football game precedes Sunday programming (usually CBS or Fox), you always have to plan to pad by at least 15 minutes, but my minimum is usually at least 30. This isn't something new...Sunday programming has potentially been pushed back like this for decades. Have to plan ahead and consider what athletic events are on for Sundays.
Football is boring. What is the point of it. All it does is screw around with programs.

Yeah! They should put on couples ice dancing instead. ;)

Worst is when only the local channel airs a (local) game, so the rest of the country gets to see the show you were anticipating, and you? You get to "Join In Progress" .

Zen98031, what do you mean you couldn't find it? When I checked isohunt.com yesterday morning, it was all over there, with thousands of people downloading it!

nyny523, read this thread:
Bit torrent Question.. I need someone to walk me through like I am 5. I haven't but the title sure sounds helpful :). If you still have questions after that feel free to come back here :).

Well, was unable to find it there when I last looked, was able to find 3,4 and 2 on another site (this time I setup the Tivo but the damn cat unplugged it, I keep telling her to keep them out of "My room".) still trying to find a good copy of episode 1, will try again tonight.

Really hoping Fox will air an Encore presentation, since so many missed the last 10 min when local news cut in, in some areas.

Himmm... Me's now see a reason for the DirecTV... VOD offerings of FOX programming (haven't started yet, but it would at least help with situations like this for $0.99)

A reminder to EVERYONE who is reading these threads... Every once and a while, poke your head into the Season Pass Alerts forum.... We have been talking about padding 24 for at least two weeks now to account for the football game.

As for the local news "cutting" in... they should be held seriously accountable for that... I would contact that station and demand a reply of at least the 2nd hour of the show.

I am also perplexed why FOX isn't using F/X like it did the first season... they replayed the episodes later in the week on F/X

Every time I look they're there :).
Right now, I see three different copies up there... not counting the iPod and PSP versions.
I had my season pass for 24 ready to go and was watching the football game and knew 24 would be late. But when I went to try to pad the recording after it started, I couldn't find a way to do so. Basically my only options were to continue recording or to stop recording. In a desperate move, I stopped recording, then changed the season pass to pad 30 minutes, and it still didn't work. I guess the new settings don't take effect until the next episode starts?

Anyway, I ended up recording the local news, which had the last 15 minutes of 24. Since I was watching it live, I got most of the show, but I'm glad I don't have to play it back or transfer it because it's spliced together.

Go into Now Playing, highlight the show being recorded and hit select. From that screen you should be able to get to the "Change Recording Options" screen and change the padding on the end.
