Voice Remote was working with Mini until Bolt HD died. I replaced the HD and now I have one Mini Vox that will not pair with the remote. I think I have done everything I have read. I tried the general pairing through the system. I've done a full unpairing and tried to re-pair. Still gets red light and sometimes blinking amber that never seems to find the Mini Vox.

Any other suggestions? Was there some setting I might have inadvertently shut off?

Any chance the remote somehow paired with the Bolt when it went through the setup with the new drive? Normally a paired remote won't do this (it shouldn't), but it could have happened. See if it controls the Bolt, and if so, unpair it from there / then see if you can re-pair with the Mini.

Pairing these remotes is sometimes a challenge -- use brand new, fresh batteries and try to pair it within a foot or so of the target device. Yeah, I know it sounds like a stand on your right foot, wiggle your left ear, and try to do something, but sometimes it takes some odd sequencing to make things work.

Also, you may want to try to reset the Mini Vox (C&DE, which really just resets the Mini and doesn't impact the Bolt), resetting the remote when the Bolt is in the doing the reset and as early as possible before/during the reboot process, and seeing if it will re-pair that way.

Got the Vox remote to pair with the Bolt with new hard drive. Also got it to pair with 2 of 3 Minis. Last Mini and Vox remote just refuses to pair no matter what I do. I have tried all codes and resets I could find. Any suggestions?
