You using Cablecards?
Yes, I am. All appears correct with the cards.JYoung said:You using Cablecards?
The crucial sentence here is I do not receive these three channels live. That sounds like a CC problem to me. If you could receive them on live TV but not record them, that would be a TiVo problem.gostan said:I am having this same issue on three channels only on my TivoHD. MaxHD, StarzHD & ShowHD.
I keep receiving the message in to do history that "this program was not recorded because the video signal was not available. And I do not receive these three channels live even though they show as 100% on strength meter.
This does not happen on any other channels. And I am subscribed to these 3 channels and receive them on my Tivo S3 fine.
Is this a CC problem or a Tivo problem.
Should a do a system restart or call Comcast?? Or is the TivoHD defective.

I don't have that info on my diagnostic screen. FWIW, I just got this for the first time last night with a replacement series 3. I was watching the tonight show in HD, hit the record button and when I went to watch this morning it said it was unavailable. I used NBC last night since Las Vegas recorded just fine.lrhorer said:Try my suggestion in the link below and report back your results.

Good news, were you able to get the cards paired over the phone ?gostan said:Comcast computers are finally back up.
Reauthorization of CC's fixed my issues.
At least for now.

I think you might be experiencing one of the (apparently many) bugs in the 9.1 software release. It's possible that upgrading to 9.2 will help.ahaley said:I'm still having this same issue. It's happened again, at the same time for the third week in a row. I was actually home this week and the program it was trying to record was blank, and all encrypted channels seemed to not be behaving. I'm not sure when it would start working again but a reboot seems to fix it.
Any thoughts?
