Hey everyone,

Any ideas what is happening here to my Premiere XL4? I get these lines like on their faces but it's getting worse and chunkier. Looks like they have chocolate on their faces.

I've tried plugging it into another HDMI port but same issue. My Apple TV works fine. Also tried the composite out showing a low def channel and it has it.

These lines get really bad. Audio still comes through fine. Thinking it's a video chip issue.

I'm betting its a low (or too high) signal strength. What's the signal strength and SNR on that channel. (Its in diagnostics.)

It should be fine, but Tivo can be finicky about signals.

i'd try swapping a few cables and any splitters with new/known good ones (one at a time for troubleshooting purposes) before replacement, but that's me.

Yep, done that too. Forgot to mention that. Swapped the HDMI cables with my Apple TV. Tried different inputs.

Volt meter on the power outlet is clean 120.

The cable signal was a good idea. Sounds like it's good enough. I'll play around with the cable.

Thanks,
B
