I know this has been discussed before but it seems to be getting worse and on more channels.
My Roamio records the program and the video is fine but there is no audio. This happens most frequently on Lifetime but now also Bravo, HGTV, and History. The workaround is to select the SPANISH audio track and then the Tivo plays normal English soundtrack (bizarre and irritating).

Does anyone know what's going on?

Is this still happening? Who is your cable provider? Have to wonder if it's something they are doing related to the audio tracks.

Spectrum Orange County, CA.

Still happening on Lifetime. Others have subsided for now. The condition is totally random but once it starts on a particular show it occurs all the time on that show.

My parents had a similar problem for a while, where certain shows would play with the descriptive audio track instead of the regular audio track. Eventually it went away. All we could figure is that it was something odd at the local cable provider.
