I'm thinking Jenna ends up dead. I don't think they need another vampire around, and her role really hasn't been that important. Plus, more angst for Alaric.

Jenna's a vampire now or in transition to become one? It's been a sucky couple of days for her.

So that leaves another person either vamp or dead. I guess that means Matt will never die. And I must admit, as much as I've been calling for his death all season, I did a little squee and clap when he shot that witch. I still don't want him with Caroline but he's just gotten the call from the Governor.
But for the record, Jenna? Really? There were no other back ups? Why didn't he just take Stefan too? Afraid she wouldn't go through with it? But thinks she will with Jenna? Yikes.
So other than that, everyone pretty much called it. Damon fed his blood to Elena and then got bit by Tyler. I was waiting for him to kill Tyler while he was in transition. Figured that would be their reason he doesn't die from the bite.

Following Damon, Caroline failed to show up for his lunch so I believe he thought that evil blood sucking vampire Damon did something to her. Then he comes across Damon fighting some guy who appears to be in a psychic battle with Damon.What was Matt doing in the woods anyway?

I find it hard to believe Damon was followed by a mere human without noticing, but whatever. Looks like Caroline, Matt will be trapped by werewolf Tyler so they can't help the rest of the scooby gang.

I think he dies, and Jenna got his ring, so she never becomes vamp. I think the ring brought her back and protected her when Claus killed her! Just my spec, we'll see.

Other then being Elena and her brothers guardian her character is disposable. If Jenna is killed then John Gilbert is next in line as guardian. Can't see John Gilbert hanging around playing daddy.her role really hasn't been that important.

The big question is: Why didn't they just give the resurrection potion to Bonnie and have her kill Klaus right away? If killing Klaus killed her, she would have a chance of coming back to life. And the only werewolf and/or vamp killed in the process would be Klaus.
Another thought. let Damon drink the potion. When the werewolf's bite kills him as a vampire, he may just resurrect as a real boy -- poetic justice for him. Then have Damon revert to who he was at his death in the 1860's. This would mean no memories of killing people etc.
Damon restored as human would be an ambiguous event for Stefan. On one hand, his guilt over his brother's death and turning would be alleviated. On the other hand, he would be jealous of Damon becoming human. Stefan would want to die as a vampire to be restored to life for Elena. But the catch would be losing his love for Elena and restoring his love for Katherine. The writers could really milk this. They have shown time and again that they have the ability.

I think it was mentioned that the resurrection potion doesn't work on supernatural beings, and that's why Bonnie couldn't take it. Or maybe it was the ring that doesn't work on supernaturals...?
The ring doesn't. Who knows about the potion.
Just have Bonnie bless a ring that DOES work on supernaturals.
