I found a TiVo HD with lifetime service at a thrift store. I talked him down to $10+tax. I doubt I'll ever need to Log in to tivo.com for any reason but with that said, is there a way to change the user info on it? (email address etc). We're sort of cord-cutting by dropping cable tv and cable phone (keeping 100MB internet) and using OTA, Netflix and Hulu (and MagicJack). I have an account for my Lifetime Premiere. Thanks

There is no info directly on the Tivo, but its TSN is linked to an account at tivo.com

I am not sure how you can get it transferred to your account, but work with Tivo CS.

You should get it on your account in case you ever want to take advantage of any future upgrade offers and as long as your Premiere stays on the gen3 UI you can transfer shows between them once it's on your account with the same MAK.

Thanks, I tried using TiVo chat to do it but no go. I had to call India instead. She was able to transfer it, the call only took 16 minutes total. Thanks again.

TiVo Support is in the Philippines. Glad you were able to get it transferred easily.

Have not heard anything to indicate they have a call center in India.

I did that with Linksys and get India or Philippines.
