SwSytem? Try again with SwSystem.

If you do have a software update waiting, you'll need to unblock the upgrade and rehack. If you are careful, you can do this without having to pull the drive. Google "tivo slice upgrade". DVRUpgrade has a commercial product to aid in slice upgrades, but my personal opinion is that it will be better for your soul if you learn to do it yourself. A hacked tivo is not a no maintenance device, and it is worth learning how to do that maintenance yourself if you choose to hack your tivo.

I see, false alarm. I typed the command wrong.

Yes, I have a SA 649 DT and thought I finally had the enhanced Wishlist.

I have never done an update so was wondering do I type Slicer and follow the prompts or should I try to move everything mannually. I still have the cover off of my Tivo so pulling the drive is no big deal if I mess up as long as I don't loose all my recordings.
