They do it when they are provided a new app by the 3rd party and it's passed their QA testing, keep in mind the 3rd party providers see very little value in the Tivo market so you rarely see updates.
Update Apps in TiVO Experience?
I am running TiVO Experience IV (or whatever its called) on a TiVO Bolt.
Can anyone point me to a coherent explanation of how the apps (Pandora, YouTube, etc) within it get updated?
