I upgraded my Bolt with a 3TB Toshiba drive last year and it was working fine until recently, where it almost is working fine except that it gets an S303 error during the service connection. It seems to have current guide data, and records shows fine. But I would like to correct the S303 problem. My issue is that I don't seem to be able to initiate a kickstart 58. The procedure that I am trying to follow is:
- As the TiVo DVR restarts, the green LED light on the front bezel of the box will be lit.
- When you see the yellow/amber light begin to flash, wait a second and then press and hold the Pause button on the remote for two seconds, then release it.
- Within 5 seconds, press the kickstart code (see below) on the remote control
- If you are successful, the green and amber lights will blink in alternating patterns to indicate the code has been accepted.
