Ugly Betty 10/18/2007 (S02E04) "Grin and Bear It"

Another great show ... Hoping that Justin snaps out of it - soon. I like the good ole' Justin, better.

I liked it =) Quite enjoyed Justin's identity crisis...but I do have to say I enjoyed him more before.

They showed no reason for Justin's crisis.

How much time actually elapsed between this and the previous episode? Last episode he was working at Mode...now he's back in school and already flunked a test?
It's too bad we didn't see more banter between him and Wilhelmina's assistant (whatever his name is)

Speaking of Wilhelmina, I didn't understand the whole "remade woman" part. I suppose I should have replayed it a couple times, but I wanted to get on my computer.
Wilhelmina saw Faye and the dude with tweety-bird doing it, but why did Faye "pay her off"? Was it so Mr. Mead wouldn't find out about it? I didn't get that whole part.

As I remember it (and this show is so goofy I find it easier to watch if I turn my brain off), Willie saw Faye doing it w/Tweety, and in turn for keeping her mouth shut, Faye paid for Willie's make-over. She went from afro-sister to glamo-girl. They didn't elaborate on WHY Faye felt the need to pay for her silence. Or if they did, my brain didn't process it.

Fun fun show to watch, but if you attempt to analyze it, it falls apart. Example: Two weeks ago, Amanda was grossly overweight. Next episode, she's got no pinch again. Huh? But she looks so gooood, who cares!
