TV shows in which the cast has great chemistry

Leverage will never be in my top 10 tv show list but I think the five main characters have some of the best onscreen chemistry of any show I watch. They all interact very well with each other. I think they're all good in their roles. I don't wish one or two of them would just go away like I do with some other really good shows.

What do you think?

I feel this same way about Community and Happy Endings. Funny how all my drama shows I could do without a character or two but both these shows every single one is awesome alone or with the others in SL.
Star Trek:TOS and Star Trek:TNG. Not so much the others.

My first thought.

Also
West Wing
M*A*S*H
Bones during the Zack years, not as much now

Agreed.

When they announced that they'd be doing TNG, everyone from ordinary fans like me to all the TV critics were saying, "No matter how good the scripts, actors, effects, production values, etc. are, there's no way they'll get the cast chemistry that the original had."

Then, around the time the third season rolled around, the same "everyone" mentioned above was saying, "Well, I'll be damned! They did it!"

Some other shows that I think had excellent cast chemistry:

  • Fawlty Towers
  • Andy Richter Controls the Universe
  • All in the Family
  • A&E Presents A Nero Wolfe Mystery (at least as good as the two Star Trek series mentioned).

Community, Modern Family, Fringe are ones that come to mind
community, it's always sunny, firefly, arrested development, parks and rec

one show that used to have chemistry was the office, but not so much lately

Oohh! How could I have forgotten Parks and Rec in my post!
I think the cast of Chuck has excellent chemistry.
My list would be:

Sports Night
Veronica Mars
Newsradio
Night Court
Buffy
I think the cast of Chuck has excellent chemistry.
Except for Ellie, in my opinion. She can disappear as far as I'm concerned.
Breaking Bad
If you did there what I think you did there, then I see it.

/Beakman's World too
Going old school -- Tony Randall and Jack Klugman on The Odd Couple.
Golden Girls. ;)

Modern Family feels like they have a great time together.
