TV Guide not updating a channel move (Nashville)

843 Views 6 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  ThAbtO
As of Sept. 20 the MyTv30 and CW Nashville over-the-air signal moved to the Fox WZTV 17.2 channel but the TV guide did not update. I did a rescan but nothing changed. I have a Series 3 Tivo and cannot set any recordings of that channel. Is there a number to call Tivo about this or some other workaround?

Its frequency changed, so you need to report it. Tune to the new channel, and get its frequency from diagnostics.

then, report it again the next week, and so on, and so on, and so on, until it's (hopefully) corrected.

Those extra reports would get closed and deleted as a repeat.

not if the previous report was closed without resolution, which happens more often than not.

I would just add comment to the report.

True example: I had a channel 20-5 moved to 20-2, reported it and eventually Tivo said that 20-5 was correct. Kept commenting, including a screen shot that say 'the channel moved to 20-2'. In the end, it finally got fixed.
