Tuning Adapter : Missing Channels

This is strictly not a TiVO issue, but I am at a dead end with the other "participants." My cable provider is Spectrum (Cleveland Suburban). Long-time subscriber, previously Warner Cable. TiVO Premier. A tuning adapter is required for "some" channels. For a many months now, certain channels provided by the tuner adapter will become unavailable, blank TV screen only. And then they will come back. No way to predict. Rebooting the adapter doesnt seem to help. For example, TiVO recorded a program on one of the channels Saturday at 11pm. By Sunday at 8am, the channel was gone. Spectrum installed new Cisco tuning adapter two weeks ago, but it didnt fix the problem. Spectrum is mystified, but I think their plan is for me to get their cable box/recorder since they had a hard time finding a tuning adapter and their techs dont know much about tuning adapters. And I am not high enough on a corporate ladder for Cisco to help. All suggestions welcome. And thanks.... -Carl

Similar tuning box problem. It becomes invisible (all channels) but generally recovers by briefly unplugging the TA. Occasionally needs Cox tech to make magic, like re-pairing TA with the Cable Card.

Fill this out and submit it. Takes about 5-10 min. You will hear from one of the higher ups at Spectrum in a couple days.
