TTG 2.4 vs. 2.5

Been lurking and it sounds like many having trouble with 2.5

Checked the Tivo website, no details on the difference.

Click "check for updates" on my 2.4 and it says I have the latest?

Just running XP and having no problems with 2.4

Should I upgrade? And what's the advantage?

AFAIK, 2.5:
Works on Vista, properly (AFAIK).
Converts Divx/Xvid/WMV to TiVo.
Converts to iPod format and loads into iTunes (I don't know if 2.4 did that, I never used that version, that is just something I noticed on 2.5).

This was a new feature in 2.5. Another new feature not previously mentioned is the ability to right click on any program in the TiVo Desktop now playing list and select convert to convert it to any of the available portable device profiles. With 2.3 and 2.4 we needed to use the TiVo Converter wrapper to convert previously transferred programs.
