Is their anyway to transfer a .tivo file to your computer....trim parts you do not want..and send it back to the tivo as a .tivo file?

You can trim the file with Nero (vision express i believe) and then export it as an mpeg2 and Tivo can play it. I've done it before

i wanted to try to keep it a .tivo file since i has all the info in it.......and trim off the last hour and first 20 mins (it is of 24 and wanted to keep it on the tivo)
