I decided to start using the Tivo to go feature, so I downloaded the newest version this morning, then bought the PLUS so it will convert to my ipod for me.

The tivo desktop will not find either of my two tivos on the network. I transfer between them all the time, and at the Tivo tech support they told me to go to the tivos and go through a change the network process, but keep it the same, then connect to the tivo service. Then uninstall/re-install the desktop.

I've done all that but I'm getting the same results! It won't find my Tivos.

In reading thru some similar posts, I can connect to my Tivo with the https://mytivo
This gives me the list of shows on my tivo...any suggestions on how to get the desk top to find them? Please?? Going on a long plan ride tomorrow and would love to grab some shows onto my Ipod for the trip.

Thanks!!

Thanks for the replies. It ended up being a problem with Norton Utilities blocking Tivo's access. I wasn't able to see this, for some reason, until I restarted. At the restart I got the message from Norton asking me if I wanted to allow Tivo access.

It now works beautifully - I love it!

is there a way to find out all the PC's firewall and what they are blocking?

i have a problem with another website saying that my download blocker is stopping some DL's but my blocker is not on so maybe there is something else doing it.

Download blocker or pop-up blocker? It is very easy to get more than one pop-up blocker installed and not even realize it? IE has one built-in. Google toolbar, Yahoo toolbar, etc. all have their own too.

lol GOTTA love those firewalls!!
I have NVidia on my motherboard and found a separate firewall deep in the network connections setup.
I would have never thought to look for it had it not been for this forum.
