I recently purchased a THD and had a single Motorola Multi-Stream cable card installed all with Great Results. But in the last week I have noticed some things I have not seen before while watching HD thru the Tivo. I have a Pioneer Elite AV-receiver and a Plasma - the Tivo is connected via HDMI and component to the AVR and I have used both formats and seen the same issue.

1. When the picture seems to pan on Network Prime Time HD shows the image seems to jitter or at the very least is not smooth. Is this a Comcast signal issue, A Tivo problem or something else -

I don't know the answer to your question, but I have noticed that as well. It's especially evident watching any HD channel with a lot of motion (such as an NFL game.) I was going to call Comcast about it last night, but they had a special message telling me that their call volume was huge. I'll give it a day or so to see if it goes away...

Try using Settings -> Reboot to see if that addresses the problem.

Rebooted the THD this evening - I have watched some recorded HD and some live HD tonight. I did not see any of the jerky panning issue. I will follow up in a couple of days when I have more time to watch TV during the week.

I alos noticed this a few times recently. I rebooted and have not noticed since, but have not watched any NFL since either and it is most evident during this type of motion, and for me most prevalent on CBS (1080i).

Same here... the jumpiness went away after a reboot (even on recorded shows that had been jittery before.)
