Several weeks ago I had a lightning strike near my house. First thing I noticed was some dead Ethernet connections, which turned out to be by gigabit switch. This evening I decided to connect to my TiVo over the network and...the ethernet port's dead. Most likely the strike came in over the CATV line and took out the TiVo's connection. Oddly enough the second TiVo's just fine.
So, Weaknees lists a $60 USB > Ethernet adapter but they're out of stock. Can anyone recommend a compatible adapter they've used in a similar situation?
