Hello all,
Just wanted to pass along an observation RE the TiVoHD power supply...
It appears that the power supply in the THD went from a (robust?) 2.4A unit to 1.0A unit sometime during August production... that is a significant reduction in available power. The motherboard however appears to have stayed the same... quite a few things unpopulated and apparently the same Rev level.
Will we see a new, less capable model, with a new slimmer trimmer motherboard as well?**Or, a new, more capable model using the 2.4A power supply to take advantage of all those unused cutouts in the chassis with the current motherboard getting fully populated??
Oh well, time will tell.
