I have the Linksys gaming adapter and am pleased with the performance, now that I have everything figured out...
HERE IS THE CAVEAT: If you have competing networks that are pretty strong (apartment building or nearby houses), the gaming adapter can get confused and jump to another network if it is stronger. I had to boost my signal (external antenna) to be sure that my signal from the second floor was stronger than my neighbors. Now it is very stable and I haven't had any problems since.
