I am torn between purchasing the new tivo adapter or a wired usb200M + the gaming adapter (Linksys) for a faster wirelss connection. I was wondering if anyone knew what transfer speeds are for these options on a wireless network. Does anyone habe transfer speeds on these setups? I have read that the gaming adp + wired usb yield realtime transfers and that the Tivo G adpt does increase transfer times. But how much? Any input would be great.

I have the Linksys gaming adapter and am pleased with the performance, now that I have everything figured out...

HERE IS THE CAVEAT: If you have competing networks that are pretty strong (apartment building or nearby houses), the gaming adapter can get confused and jump to another network if it is stronger. I had to boost my signal (external antenna) to be sure that my signal from the second floor was stronger than my neighbors. Now it is very stable and I haven't had any problems since.
