I am not able to move programs between my new to me Roamio and my computer. I currently also have an older Roamio that I purchased new in 2014 and a 3TB Bolt that I purchased new in 2016. Both of these units work fine with my computer. I use Tivo Desktop Plus to copy programs from the DVRs to the computer and pyTivo Desktop to copy programs back to the DVRs.
Tivo Desktop Plus sees the new Roamio but when I try to "Pick Recordings to Transfer" I get the following message:
"There was an error while attempting to retrieve data from the selected DVR."
"The network connection was aborted by the local system"
Then when I go to "Devices" on the new Roamio I don't see the folders supported by the ptTivo Desktop. I do see the new Roamio from my two original DVRs and I am able to move programs between the Tivo units.
Please advise what I can do to resolve this problem. I did try setting up a second Windows 10 computer with the Tivo Desktop Plus and I got the same error message.
