TiVo suggestions

Forgive the ignorant question.

When DirecTV had TiVo many years ago, it had one of the best abilities out there: It would record "suggestions" automatically. This way you almost always had something to watch even when nothing was on.

Does the new DirecTV TiVo do this? Or does it only suggest shows you may be interested it but does not automatically record them if there is space and nothing else is recording at the moment?

Yes, the new Tivo has the "Suggestions" feature.

There is a menu option to enable or disable "Suggestions", so you can have it whichever way is right for you and your situation.
