TiVo Suggestions not showing on OLED Display

I'm sure it's been discussed before, but I couldn't find the Thread... Sorry!

Anyway, here's my question:

On my S3 the Tivo Suggestions being recorded do not display the name of the show on the front panel's OLED, just the Red Dot. However if I'm recording anything else it does show up.

Its not a big deal, but I think it should always display the show being recorded.

Is this supposed to happen?

It'd ruin the surprise if you could see what Suggestions were being recorded on the front panel.

That's how you can tell if it's a Suggestion or scheduled recording.

thanks for this info. I always wondered why sometimes I saw only one title on the front display but was never curious enough to dig for the answer. Lazyness does have it's benifits

Personally I'd rather NOT be surprised... I'd like to tell if the TiVo is recording something crappy or something cool. I can get kind of obsessive about making sure by Tivo Suggestions folder contain only things I like... Maybe I should give the TiVo more Thumbs Up / Down info...

Anyhow, thanks for the info... I always thgough there was something wrong with my unit, but was afraid to ask.

If you put the unit into standby, scheduled recordings won't show the title either, just the red dot.

Just thought I'd throw that out there.

You can also see what your TiVo is thinking about recording as a Suggestion by looking in the Suggestions section of the Pick Programs to Record area. Then you can head it off by thumbing-down (only takes one) anything you see there that you don't want recorded.
