TiVo stuck on One Channel, won't change channels

Today my TiVo 3 Premiere HD was paused... we left the room and when I returned it was playing a BBC program, live. But here's the weird part... although the program was playing fine my TiVo lost control of the programming. I clicked everything I could think of, no luck. My TiVo had no ability to change anything. Finally rebooted.

When the TiVo came back, everything seemed normal. I switched channels, checked recordings, everything was fine. I put up the Now Playing screen and told my wife the TiVo was okay now and she could watch whatever. And then... the TiVo switched to BBC again and wouldn't move. Finally I rebooted again and again it's back to normal. For now. I turned off the TV and will check it in the morning.

This is a new problem to me and I hope somebody can help. Thanks.
