USB hubs work- TiVo even sells one themselves. Search around, this is not a new scenario.
Tivo Slide Remote Question
Hey Everyone, question for you all. I have a Series 3 with a tuning adapter, AND the wifi unit hooked into my two USB ports. I want to get the Tivo Slide remote, but I notice that it wants you to plug the bluetooth dongle into one of the USB ports, but if both are already taken, then what? Adapter anyone?

yup. i recommend using the one on tivo.com as it's been thoroughly qualified for use with TiVO platforms.
