I've been using a Tivo Slide Pro (with USB dongle) on my old Premiere successfully for a couple of years but now it's developed a glitch.
Every button press requires TWO presses before the Tivo registers it. For example -- press the TIVO button -- nothing happens until the second press, then the Tivo responds appropriately. Same with all the rest of the buttons.
If I slide the remote open, the keys on the keyboard all work on the first press, including the navigation arrows and the select button.
It seems whatever's gone wrong is only on the outside keypad.
I did a hard reset (TIVO button + "Back" until it flashed red) which didn't solve anything. I reset it again and paired it with my Tivo Mini and it does the same thing -- two button presses before the Tivo responds, then it responds as if the button was only pressed once.
Anyone have any ideas -- is this something solvable or do I just replace it with another Slide Pro from ebay?
