When I came home yesterday and turned on my TV there was no picture. None of the lights on the TiVo was lit, but I could here the hard drive spinning. A power disconnect/reboot fixed the issue.

Anyone else experience this? Is it a telltale sign of something dying inside, or just a glitch of some sort?

Could be some kind of voltage fluctuation. If you don't have your Tivo plugged in to UPS with automatic voltage regulation (AVR), then you should.
